Tuition

Regular tuition for this program is $895 with a group rate of $795 each for two or more registrants from the same firm. For government employees, we offer a special rate of $695. For students and people in their job for less than a year, our rate is $447.50. All rates include admission to all seminar sessions, food and beverages at breaks, and all course materials. Make checks payable to Law Seminars International.

Cancellation & Substitution

You may substitute another person at any time. We will refund tuition, less a $50 cancellation fee, if we receive your cancellation by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. After that time, we will credit your tuition toward attendance at another program or the purchase of a Homestudy. There is a $25 cancellation fee for Course Materials orders and $50 for Homestudy orders.

Continuing Education Credits

This program qualifies for 11.5 NV CLE credits. Upon request, we will apply for CLE credits in other states and other types of credits.

Karen D. Dennison, Program Co-Chair, shareholder in Hale Lane Peek Dennison and Howard, is chair of the firm's Real Property and Finance Group. She focuses on real estate law, including master planned community developments and resort developments. She wrote the Nevada Timeshare Law and is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" and "LawDragon's 500 Leading Dealmakers in America".

Donald G. Martin, Program Co-Chair, Director at Fennemore Craig, P.C., focuses on corporate and real estate transactions including negotiation and preparation of purchases and sales of commercial real estate agreements, business acquisitions, assets and general business contracts. He wrote "Complex Real Estate Transactions in Nevada".

The Hon. Oscar B. Goodman, Special Address, Mayor of Las Vegas, focuses on promoting and protecting the interests of the City and downtown redevelopment and revitalization. He is the Chairman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and is on the Advisory Board of the United States Conference of Mayors.

Ronald O. Bloecker, Underwriter and Closing Officer at LandAmerica Commercial Services, approves the issuance of title insurance policies on any project he coordinates that involves property located in the U.S. He is a Senior Certified Escrow Officer in the State of Nevada and Director for the Southern Nevada Escrow Association.

Michael E. Buckley, stockholder with Jones Vargas, leads the firm's Business and Real Estate Transactions Practice Group and focuses on commercial and real estate law, including development of high-rise condominiums and master planned communities. He is Chair of the Nevada Commission for Common-Interest Communities and former Chair of the Las Vegas City Planning Commission.

Robert W. Solomon is General Counsel with the American Nevada Corporation, a real estate developer in master planned communities, office parks, retail centers and mixed-use properties.

Steven van Gorp, AICP, Deputy Director in the Office of Business Development with the City of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency, oversees downtown redevelopment projects and real estate, fast tracking entitlements and permits. Previously he was the City's Redevelopment Manager and its first Urban Design Coordinator. He is a founding member of the Congress for the New Urbanism.

James D. Wright, partner at Venable LLP, represents clients in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing and leasing of real estate. He represents Marriott in its nationwide acquisition of hotel sites.

Stephen B.
