Meredith Martin Addy, Program Co-Chair, is a partner at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione. Ms. Martin Addy focuses on intellectual property litigation and also works as a Court Appointed Expert and Special Master conducting Markman hearings, drafting Markman decisions, and drafting decisions on motions for summary judgment in complex patent litigations. She has significant experience procuring, defending, and enforcing IP rights in the fields of computer hardware, software, voice synthesis, and electrical connectors.

Steven G. Steger, Program Co-Chair, is Director of Intellectual Property and Associate General Counsel for Brunswick Corporation, a company involved in marine engine technology, recreational boats and related technology, exercise equipment, bowling and billiards. Mr. Steger is responsible for managing Brunswick’s intellectual property portfolio, including overseeing the acquisition of patents and trademarks, as well as enforcement of the portfolio.

Joseph J. Berghammer is a partner at Banner & Witcoff, Ltd. where he concentrates on litigation and counseling of patent, trademark and copyright matters and the preparation and prosecution of patent, trademark and copyright applications. Mr. Berghammer has successfully litigated in many fields, including food science technology, chemical compounds, steel processing and products, packaging, coatings, biochemical products, plastics processing, paper technologies, consumer products, consumer displays and publishing.

Stephen Lesavich is a member and the founder of the Lesavich High-Tech Law Group PC. Mr. Lesavich focuses on computer and software patents; trademarks; copyrights law; patent licensing; litigation; internet law; e-commerce; and business methods patents.

Kirk M. McInerney is a Director with Creative IP Solutions, LLC. He concentrates on bridging the gaps between strategic IP processes, the executive suite and IP legal issues. Mr. McInerney specializes in creating and implementing effective policies to maximize returns on various types of intangible assets. He also provides consulting services on intellectual asset protection and management, technology development as well as general IP and transactional corporate and business legal structuring issues.

Christopher J. Reckamp is a shareholder at Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kammholz, P.C. and a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Practice Area. Mr. Reckamp has litigated patent infringement actions and developed a concentration in the following: drafting high-quality patent applications with minimal impact on the inventors; prosecuting patent applications; preparing infringement and validity opinion letters; worldwide trademark prosecution; litigation support; licensing intellectual property; and mediation.

Gary M. Ropski is a partner at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione. He concentrates his practice on patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, and right of publicity litigation; international intellectual property litigation and counseling. Mr. Ropski has represented clients in matters involving technologies as diverse as robotics, machine tools, bindery systems, can ends, biomedical devices, consumer housewares, electrical connectors, conveying equipment, navigational devices, steel-making processes, ice cream bars, and computer software.

Deborah Schavey Ruff is a partner in the IP Group at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP. Ms. Ruff’s practice is focused on the strategic management of trademark and patent portfolios, including the development of trademark protection and enforcement programs, patent prosecution and technology licensing.

Wayne P. Sobon is the Director of Intellectual Property at Accenture. Mr. Sobon is responsible for intellectual property issues, including the program for capturing, protecting and exploiting Accenture’s innovations.
