John Clark, Program Co-Chair, is a partner at Goodin MacBride Squeri Scholtz & Ritchie. He is a former Deputy Commissioner for the Nevada Public Utility Commission and General Attorney for CP National Corporation's Energy and Telecommunications Group.

Stephen P. Bowen, Program Co-Chair, manages Blumenfeld & Cohen's San Francisco office. He has represented the diverse members of the California Telecommunications Coalition. He also works with other industries contemplating entry into telecommunications such as major corporate users and electric and gas utilities.

John M. Eger, Keynote Address, is Professor of Communications and Public Policy at San Diego State University and President of the World Foundation for Smart Communities. He also is Founding Director of the SDSU International Center for Communications, which established the Japan-U.S. Telecommunications Research Institute, and the California Institute for SmartCommunities TM .

The Hon. Richard Bilas, Luncheon Address, is President of the California Public Utilities Commission.

Matthew C. Ames, a partner at Miller Van Eaton, specializes in cable television issues and new communications technologies affecting local governments and building owners/ managers.

G. Gabriel Cole, President of RTE Group, Inc., received his SB and SM degrees from MIT. RTE develops telecommunications infrastructure strategies for telecom consumers and property owners/developers.

Robert J. Gloistein, a partner at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, is an expert in the areas of both telecommunications and finance.

Brooks E. Harlow, a partner at Miller Nash Wiener Hager & Carlsen, emphasizes real estate, right-of-way, and general regulatory issues for telecommunications carriers.

John P. Healy, Shareholder/Director at Polsinelli White Vardeman & Shalton, served as primary real estate counsel to a national telecommunications company in launching its PCS network in the Kansas City/Witchita region.

Andrew Jacobson, formerly with Wendel Rosen Black & Dean in Oakland, recently joined Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand. He is uniquely qualified to represent building owner/managers on infrastructure issues because he is a licensed architect in California.

Ted Kreines is President of Kreines & Kreines, Inc., consultants to cities and counties on wireless planning.

Elaine Lustig, Assistant General Counsel--West Region Field Operations, has experience in both regulatory issues and business operations for GTE California, Incorporated.

Mary Ryan is Vice President at Ragen MacKenzie where she leads the firm's assessment of telecommunications companies.

James M. Tobin, partner at Morrison & Foerster, is co-chair of the firm's Communications Practice Group and heads the Telecommunications Practice Group.

Suzanne Toller, Senior Counsel for AT&T Wireless, is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of AT&T Wireless' state regulatory work throughout the country.

Mark Tuft, a partner at Cooper White & Cooper, is a former member of the State Bar of California Standing Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct. He also is former Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco's Committee on Legal Ethics.

Paul Valle-Riestra, Assistant City Attorney for the City of Walnut Creek, has worked on telecommunications issues at the federal, state, and local levels.
