Nancy I. Day, Senior Vice President, NewEnergy, Inc., is currently developing NEV's nationwide regulatory strategy designed to accelerate the creation of viable competitive energy markets. Previously she was vice president-regulatory affairs for Southern California Gas Company.

Kellan Fluckiger is Vice President, Operations, of the Independent System Operator and has overall responsibility for system operations and reliability, operating and engineering studies, transmission maintenance oversight, transmission scheduling and market operations.
Wesley Franklin has been with the California Public Utilities Commission for 24 years and is currently Executive Director. He has overseen administration, budget, human resources and computerization of the agency, and has been a liaison with the legislature and other sate agencies as well as industry and consumer groups.
Christopher J. Garner is General Manager of the City of Long Beach Gas and Electric Department where he is directing the addition of electricity to the department's product line. He has been responsible for negotiating and managing the City's natural gas contracts.
DeAnn Hapner is Vice President of Regulation for Pacific Gas and Electric Company where she directs revenue requirements, regulatory relations and regulatory analysis.
Gary C. Heath was appointed by the Governor of California as the first Executive Director of the California Electricity Oversight Board in 1997. Prior to this he was the Principal Policy Advisor to the Vice Chair of the California Energy Commission.

Bill Julian is the Principal in Bill Julian and Associates and is a consultant on energy and utility regulation issues in California, working with consumer interests and associations.
Susan J. Mara is Regional Director of Government Affairs at Enron Corp. and is responsible for promoting pro-competitive policies in California's energy markets. She was previously ISO Policy Team Leader and Director of Transmission Policy and Pricing at PG&E.
Christopher Mayer is Assistant General Manager, planning and marketing, of the Modesto Irrigation District. Prior to this he was the District's Chief Electric Operations Officer.
Kenneth J. Mellor is Principal and Senior Director of consulting in R.W. Beck's Sacramento office where he works with utilities, agencies, marketers, and electricity customers to prepare for and take advantage of competitive changes.
Richard P. O'Neill is the Chief Economist and Director of the Office of Economic Policy at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and is responsible for economic analysis and regulatory policy in the natural gas, electric power and oil pipeline industries.
Douglas A. Oglesby, Vice President and General Counsel of PG&E Energy Services, has 20 years of energy law and utility industry experience including legal counsel to Vantus Energy as a partner in McKenna & Cuneo LLP, and as a chief counsel for Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
James H. Pope has over 30 years of experience in the electric and gas industry and is currently Director of Electric Utility for Silicon Valley Power, City of Santa Clara.
William L. Reed is Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer for Sempra Energy, a Fortune 500 energy services holding company formed in 1998 whose subsidiaries provide electricity, natural gas and value-added products and services.
Michael Shames is Executive Director and co-founder of Utility Consumers' Action Network (UCAN), a non-profit consumer watchdog group that represents the interests of San Diegans in energy, telecommunication and Internet matters before the state and federal regulatory bodies.
John H. Stout is Vice President, California Assets Commercialization, of Reliant Energy wholesale group and is responsible for Reliant Energy's assets in California as well as the southwestern U.S.
Bob Therkelson is Deputy Director of Energy Facilities Siting and Environmental Protection at the California Energy Commission. He has been with the Commission since 1975 and has served as a technical expert and project manager.
Russ Vanos is Vice President of Utility Energy and Services, Itron, Inc., and has been involved in deregulation activities related to the utility industry and applying solutions to meet the needs of the changing energy marketplace.
Eric Charles Woychik is Principal and Founder of Strategy Integration, Inc. and is developing strategies to address business opportunities in market structure reform, power procurement, energy pricing, demand management and retail access policies. He is a member of the Governing Board of Directors for the CA ISO.
John Yurkanin is Chief Operating Officer for the California Power Exchange (CalPX) with responsibilities for internal operations that include all trading operations, market services, and settlement operations.
