Walter Sapronov, Program Co-Chair, is a partner at Gerry & Sapronov LLP. Mr. Sapronov concentrates his practice on telecommunications law and regulation and transactions involving regulated communications carriers. He represents numerous clients before the Georgia Public Service Commission, the FCC, and the Georgia State Legislature.

William B. Baker is a partner in the law firm of Wiley Rein & Fielding. He has practiced for more than 17 years in the areas of high technology, communications, and postal law, with a particular interest in privacy, e-commerce, and telecommunications.

Robert J. Butler is a partner in the Communications and Privacy Practices of Wiley Rein & Fielding and Co-Chair of the firms Internet practice. He focuses his practice on telecommunications regulation with a special emphasis on regulatory and legislative issues involving interconnection, information services and new technologies.
Eduardo M. Carreras is Senior Intellectual Property Counsel with The Coca-Cola Company where he has been since 1983. During this time, he has served in matters relating to patents, copyrights, trademarks, and technology.
Leah G. Cooper serves as Corporate Counsel for BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. She is responsible for the companys wireless and CLEC interconnection agreements.
Susan P. Crawford is a member of the E-Commerce Group at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. She has broad experience in Internet policy issues (e.g. consumer protection, advertising, and privacy), software licensing, and intellectual property issues relating to high-tech industries.
Norman B. Gerry is a partner at Gerry & Sapronov LLP where his practice includes telecommunications law, construction law, commercial real estate transactions, including development, finance and leasing, and estate planning.

Bruce N. Hawthorne is a senior partner at King & Spalding where he chairs the firm's Telecommunications Industry Practice. Mr. Hawthorne focuses on securities laws, mergers and acquisitions, strategic joint ventures, venture capital transactions and public offerings. He served as lead outside counsel for Sprint Corporation in its proposed merger with MCI WorldCom.

He was lead counsel for the Commissions review of Bell Atlantics Section 271 application. He also was instrumental in development of the Bell Atlantic/ Verizon Post-271 Performance Assurance Plan.

James A. Macke is Local Regulatory Manager for AT&T Broadband. He is responsible for franchise compliance, renewals, and transfers for 163 communities throughout Georgia. Prior to joining AT&T, he was Telecommunications Franchise Coordinator for the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA).
Laura F. H. McDonald is a partner at Levine Blaszak Block & Boothby LLP where she counsels large users and new market entrants in the negotiation of service agreements and interconnection arrangements. She represents clients in local telecommunications markets in the negotiation of their user agreements with incumbent local exchange carriers.
Jeffrey A. Moerdler is the New York Office Section Head for Real Estate and Communications for Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC. He has negotiated hundreds of rooftop antenna leases, inside wiring agreements, antenna tower leases, and switch facility leases nationwide.
Jonathan J. Nadler is a partner with Squire Sanders & Dempsey LLP where he has worked extensively on issues regarding telecommunication liberalization, broadband deployment, and the growth of the Internet.
Harvey Saferstein is Of Counsel in the Litigation Section of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC. His practice specializes in antitrust and trade regulation counseling and litigation and complex commercial and business litigation. Currently, he is consulting with the California Public Utilities Commission on antitrust matters.
Christopher W. Savage is a partner at Cole Raywid & Braverman LLP where he is a leading practitioner on the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Shortly after its passage, he successfully negotiated the nations first interconnection agreement between a cable operation and an RBOC.
Chad S. Wachter is the Vice President, General Counsel for Knology Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining Knology, he served as the Assistant General Counsel of Powertel, Inc. an affiliate that offers the largest contiguous PCS network in the Southeast.
